Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Calculations.one (“we”, “us”, “our”), an independent website operated from India, collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit https://calculations.one and use its calculators, tools and pages (together, the “Service”).
We have written it to be readable. In short: you can use every calculator without an account, most calculations run entirely in your browser, and we do not sell your personal data. Like most websites we use cookies and third-party services for analytics and advertising, described below.
By using the Service you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. This Policy should be read with our Terms of Service, Disclaimer and Cookie Policy.
This Policy is designed with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules in mind, and describes rights that visitors in other regions (such as the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California) may also have.
Information we collect
1. Numbers you enter into calculators
Most calculators on Calculations.one perform the calculation locally in your web browser using JavaScript. The values you type (loan amounts, weight, marks, dates and so on) are not sent to or stored on our servers. A small number of tools may fetch reference data from a third-party service (for example exchange rates); in that case only the request needed to fetch that data is made, not your personal details.
Some tools may remember your last inputs in your own browser's local storage for convenience. That information stays on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
2. Information you give us
If you email us or use the contact form (which opens your own email app), we receive what you choose to send — typically your name, email address and message, and any page link or values you include in an error report.
3. Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting provider and the third-party services we use may automatically collect standard technical information, such as:
- IP address and approximate location (city/country level) derived from it;
- browser type, device type, operating system and screen size;
- pages visited, referring page, time and date of visit and time spent;
- cookie identifiers and similar technologies (see Cookies);
- server logs and error logs used for security and troubleshooting.
4. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect government ID numbers, bank account or card numbers, passwords, or health records. Please do not send such information to us by email.
Health calculators (BMI, BMR, pregnancy, etc.) run in your browser. We do not receive or store the health values you enter.
How we use information
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Advertising & Google AdSense
Calculations.one is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense and may use other advertising partners to display ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in the EU/UK, youronlinechoices.eu.

Advertisers do not receive the numbers you type into our calculators.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers who help us run the site — such as web hosting, content delivery, email, analytics and advertising providers — under their own privacy terms and only for the services they provide to us.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, court order or a lawful request by a government authority, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Calculations.one, our users or the public.
- Business transfers — if Calculations.one is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
- With your consent — in any other case where you have asked us to.
Cookies & similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for essential functions, analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; doing so may affect some features and the ads you see.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption across the site, security headers, restricted administrative access and regular updates.
No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires it.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erase your personal data, subject to legal requirements;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (this does not affect processing already done);
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and request data portability where applicable;
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity (under India's DPDP Act);
- Complain to us and, if unresolved, to the relevant data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).
To exercise any right, email care@calculations.one with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity. We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
California residents: we do not sell personal information as traditionally understood, and we honour browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where technically supported by our partners.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Users under 18 should use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact care@calculations.one and we will delete it.
Third-party links & services
Our pages may link to other websites, including other websites in the Evavel network and partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
International transfers
Calculations.one is operated from India. Our service providers (for example hosting, analytics and advertising providers) may process information in other countries. Where we transfer data across borders, we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards and comply with applicable law.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, partners or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. For significant changes we will place a notice on the home page. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
