Terms of Service — the ground rules.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and the owner and operator of Calculations.one (“we”, “us”, “our”), as identified in the footer of this website (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

Calculations.one provides free online calculators, converters, educational content and related tools across finance, investing, tax, loans, health, fitness, education, business, marketing, construction, engineering, science and everyday maths.

• The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.
• No account or registration is required.
• We may add, change, suspend or remove any calculator, feature or content at any time, with or without notice.
• We do not guarantee the Service will be available at all times or free of errors or interruptions.

You may use the Service if you can form a binding contract under applicable law. Users under 18 should use the Service with the supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for that use.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability;
• introduce malware, spam or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Service;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download content, or use automated systems that place an unreasonable load on our servers, except standard search-engine indexing;
• copy, mirror, frame or republish our pages, calculators or content on another website or app without written permission;
• click on advertisements artificially or encourage others to do so, or otherwise interfere with advertising;
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark or attribution notice;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us.

Calculators use standard formulas and the values you enter. Results may differ from actual figures because of rounding, assumptions, simplified models, outdated rates or rules, or input errors.

Results and content are provided for general information and education only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, engineering or other professional advice, and do not create any professional-client relationship. Verify important figures and consult a qualified professional before acting. See our Disclaimer for details.

The Service — including its design, layout, code, calculators, text, graphics, logos, the “Calculations.one” name and the “∑” mark — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, educational or internal business purposes. You may:

• use and print calculator results for your own use;
• share links to any page on the Service;
• quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the source page.

Any other use, including commercial reproduction or embedding of our calculators, requires our prior written permission.

Calculator website templates offered on our templates page are sold under the licence terms and refund conditions shown on that page or at checkout. Where those terms differ from these Terms, the purchase terms apply to the purchased product.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or error reports, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without any obligation or payment to you. Please do not send confidential information.

The Service may show third-party advertisements and link to third-party websites or use third-party data (for example exchange rates). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, accuracy or privacy practices. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calculations.one, its owners, directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, savings or opportunities, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or reliance on any result or content — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to INR 1,000 (or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months for a template purchase related to the claim, if higher).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calculations.one, its owners and its team from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at care@calculations.one so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Subject to that, courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. These Terms, with the policies referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
